Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, January 6, 2009
Meeting began at 6:05 p.m. at Western Sizzler Restaurant, Mt. Pleasant. 12 members were present.
Presentations:
Table Topics: Tracee Sioux, Julia Billingsley, Bobby Joe Spearman, Jenny Boyko, and Sharon Sehon

Evaluators: Tracee Sioux and Sheri Kramer
Business meeting began at 7:15 pm.
Ø Bobby Joe announced we will meet next week at this same location: Western Sizzler, Mt. Pleasant. He will check with Titus County regarding the status of the location on the Square in Downtown.
Ø Tracee explained the “Wordpress” website/blog that she has setup for us to do postings and have a presence on the web until we charter and get our website from T.M. International. Next week she will give a 30 minute training class on how to use the website. Everyone is invited to bring their laptops.
Ø Jennifer gave update on our Relay for Life team:
o The event is Friday, May 1st, 6 pm-6 am, at Mt.P Jr. High School.
o The “Kick-off” for the event is tentatively setup for Jan. 27th
o We need to begin planning fundraisers; everyone bring ideas to next meeting.
o Theme: “Color for Cure”; our team is white (pearl) for lung cancer
o We have a team goal to raise $1000
o Danny Carey volunteered to be our team captain (Thanks, Danny!)
Ø Tonight’s scheduled Board meeting was cancelled. Teresa requested that all Board Members meet at 5:15 p.m. next Tuesday.
Ø Jenny discussed our plans to have Ann Reeves as a guest speaker. Jenny will check with Ann for dates and we’ll put on the agenda.
Ø Teresa announced that Pilgrims Pride T.M. has suggested a quarterly joint meeting. NETTM will be responsible for planning the next one. Everyone is asked to bring their ideas for the joint meeting next week.
Ø Teresa will schedule some training for NETTM, to help members continue working toward group and individual objectives.
Ø Meeting adjourned at 8:53 p.m.
